Wessex Global University’s mission is to deliver relevant, meaningful knowledge in a timely fashion to help people succeed in their working and personal environments.

WGUni works with many clients to increase and nurture their employee’s knowledge and capability. Our personally crafted business soft-skill and personal development classes are delivered by experts who bring their expertise and personality to the classes, helping the employee to grow. Our students develop a better understanding of their success path with the company.

Each course can have a pre- and post-test that shows the growth path of the students, delivering meaningful learning wherever there is a demand globally.

HOW WE BEGAN

The dream of opening WGUNI has been in the process of development for many years for Peter James and Maureen Lloyd-James Ph.D. Six years ago WGUNI emerged. With their team of professors and course leaders they are focused on developing meaningful coursework that has a practical and immediate application by making a difference.

We were given a 'push' into this, when Johnson & Wales University decided to close its Professional Training Department, where Peter James was the Director. When he left they gave him to blessing to take all the clients with him. Which he did, establishing WGUni.

We believe that everyone deserves access to worthwhile education, to this end we will deliver meaningful learning wherever there is a demand globally.

We help by working with our client’s to drive workplace improvement from the inside out which results in engaged and empowered people at every organizational level. We often take a Kaizen approach to continuously improve all functions and involve all employees.

We identify the gap between how people think they should perform and how they actually perform. We focus on alignment between mission, strategies, structural system and human culture. Our course work, and our training, is tailored to meet the specific needs of your company.

Wessex Global University has lots of tools at our hands to help improve the workplace, in all modalities. We can either use one of our own packages or create one specially for you, working with your team and your goals.

We mainly work with large corporations but have been known to work with others, depending what your needs are. We can scale our current materials to suit your needs.
